At Saint Maur International School students are offered the chance to discover and develop their artistic talents and creativity. Lessons take place on the top floor of the Fine Arts building in a large creative space filled with a wide range of Art supplies, including the latest art software, sewing machines, 3D printers, digital drawing tablets, a printing press, oil paints, a dark room for developing photographs and more.

 

 

In Middle School, students are introduced to the many different forms of art & design, ranging from more traditional topics such as still life, perspective and portraiture, to animation, character design, architecture and more. The students build their skills with a variety of 2D and 3D media.

 

 

In High School, students are able to develop their personal portfolios in the Saint Maur Art & Design curriculum in Grade 9 & 10, followed by IB Visual Arts in Grade 11 & 12, culminating in their personal exhibitions, which focus on communicating their ideas in media of their choosing. Each year several of our Seniors apply successfully to both national and international Art college programs.

 

 

In addition to the regular Art lessons, Saint Maur also offers students the opportunity to develop their work in extracurricular activities twice a week.
